Praying 4 Jerusalem – A Jazz Concert Series

featuring Gregory LéDon – The Saxophone Guy

As sentiments toward Jerusalem ebb and flow with every news report, Gregory LéDon, The Saxophone Guy, has created a series of JAZZ concerts that will encourage people to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Jerusalem, regarded as a holy city by Armenians, Christians, Jews, Muslims and many nationalities, is one of the world’s most intriguing metropolitan areas, where East meets West, ancient meets modern and hope can meet peace.

JAZZ as an universal language and a jazz concert entitled “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem” will provide tools that promote peace for every neighborhood and in venues were diverse groups can gather. We are all connected and music can bring us together.

The concert will have original music inspired by the city of peace, as well as, added traditional tunes.  For example, one song–a jazz ballad is called “Say Shalom.”  It is a prayer a parent would say to the their child who is leaving home for the first time.

The five-member band consist of extremely talented musicians – a vocalist, saxophonist, keyboardist, bass guitar player, and drummer.
